A seat is what gives a member the benefits of your team subscription tier. Seats you haven’t assigned just sit in the org pool until you hand them out. The Seat Management table lives on the Subscription tab of the Billing page.

Assign a seat

Switch to your organization

Open the workspace switcher in the top-left of the dashboard and select your organization.

Open Billing

Click Billing in the sidebar.

Stay on the Subscription tab

It’s the default tab.

Scroll to Seat Management

The table sits below the subscription card.

Open the assign dialog

Click Assign on an unassigned seat row (or Assign Seat on a member’s row).

Pick a member

Choose them from the dropdown.

Confirm

Click Assign Seat.
The member gets tier benefits right away. If you’ve turned on credits-on-assign in Settings, they also receive a credit transfer at the same time.
Turn on Auto-assign Seats in Settings and new members get a seat automatically when they accept their invite (as long as one is available).

Revoke a seat

Switch to your organization

Open the workspace switcher and select your organization.

Open Billing

Click Billing in the sidebar.

Stay on the Subscription tab

It’s the default tab.

Scroll to Seat Management

The table sits below the subscription card.

Click Revoke

On the member’s row.

Confirm

Confirm in the dialog.
The seat goes back to the pool and you can give it to someone else. The member loses tier benefits but keeps any credits already in their wallet.

How seats and members interact

Adding seats is a billing action, not a member action. See Subscriptions > Add more seats.
